Some good news for satellite viewers in the UK ...

More classic stories to air on the Horror Channel from October

http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s7/doctor-who/news/a595197/doctor-who-remastered-classic-episodes-to-air-on-horror.html

Better than responding to trolls who think Series 9 will be the last series eh ? ;-) :D

I kept staring on the title of this thread for a few seconds and thinking whether it wasn's someone who wanted to write "More horror on Who" instead of the actual thread title who was demanding more horror aspects in the stories.

Perhaps 'satellite' is used here as a catch-all term that says 'not basic digitial (Freeview)'? It might not be accurate, but it's a quick way of making the distinction between basic digital and all other ways of watching TV via Sky, Virgin and other methods in the UK.

I have a lot of those on DVD, but I haven't seen the Sunmakers since it was on UK Gold many moons back, so am looking forward to that one.

The Two Doctors coming soon! Hope it's the 6-part version (shown overseas) then I can see the "missing" cliffhangers! :)

    I love after-the-fact cliffhangers, haha.

IIRC (from my viewings on UK Gold that inexplicably put in the "recaps" even when they weren't there in the first place) one of the cliffhangers in Two Doctors is the casual conversation about visiting the chataux (sp?) and the "episode 3" cliffhanger for Five Doctors was The Master strolling down the stairs.

I hope Horror show Mark of the Rani again as I love to see the cliffhangers for that.
    Mark:
    1. The Rani reveals herself by taking off her hat
    3. The Doctor asks where Stephenson has got to

    See they sounds thrilling! :D

I have the recording of that story on VHS from when Horror showed it before!

You can watch the movie on Netflix right now.

I was enjoying classic Who on Horror, but this week seems to be all 4 =( I realise a lot of people like him, but I'm not one of them.

But did either Watch or Horror acquire exclusive rights from BBC Worldwide?

Plenty of shows have the same seasons/episodes running on different channels. At one point, the early seasons of Scrubs were being shown simultaneously by at least four separate UK broadcasters.

Seems strange to only show one story from the Key to Time season.

The November ones aren't up on the website yet. We could get to see more of them.

Judging by the clips on the Who on Horror remastered advert on Horror Channel the episodes for Peter Davison, Colin Baker and Sylvester McCoy seem to be Kinda, The Two Doctors and Greatest Show in the Galaxy. Also, The Keeper of Traken and Logopolis for season 18 Tom Baker.
