I've got a corker of a new theme if someone just wants to land number ten and not set a new one :)

Big build up, bet it's pants now.....:D

Ok, a song by a band that has a connection with the lead singer, eg:

    1) Gardening At Night - REM

Lead singer: Michael Stipe. In botany, a stipe is a stalk that supports some other structure. Botany, plants, gardening - geddit?!

We might have to scrap this one if it's too hard :o

    Does this count Terrence?

    2) Bad Boys - Wham

George Michael has been a bad boy recently due to his frequent drug driving excapades and lets not forget that incident in 1998 in that toilet in LA

Ah, one of my fave jokes: George Michael went in to spend a penny and came out with two coppers. Yep, I think any link, no matter how tenuous, will be acceptable in this instance :D

    ^^ Groans :D

Now this is without doubt tenuous!

    3) Songbird - Coldplay

Lead singer is Chris Martin and a Housemartin is a type of bird. Howzatt then?

    5) Market Square Heroes - Marillion

Fish is the lead singer and you can buy fish from a fishmarket :o (I find it easier if the lead singers have obscure stage names)

Brown sugar is a name for heroin... a method of taking heroin is by 'jagging' ie. injecting :)

New one on me too! I have read Trainspotting by Irvine Welsh though so am aware of some of these Scottish regional dialect expressions. I believe 'money' is called 'poppy' isn't it Shakes?

    8) Two Guitars Clash - The Clash

    Lead singer: Joe Strummer

Can't say I'm familiar with the term 'poppy' TC, but lingo does differ from region to region. Have you read Porno (follow up to Trainspotting) by Welsh yet?? Its better than Trainspotting imo, absolutely hilarious.
I would love to type in my normal lingo on here... bit ye's widnae huv a scooby whit ah wis blethering oan aboot, an we cannae be huvin that noo kin we, ken whit ah mean? :p

Oh, and good one ramraider
