It would be the easiest thing in the world to revert this show to it's classic best. Announce well in advance that Big Brother next year is going to back to what it was originally made for… to observe strangers living together for weeks on end. The entire wannabe element has been permanently erased from the show. Hold open auditions and based on proper pre publicity - GET a good variety of different, interesting and decent people to come and pick your finalists from that.
Absolutely NO contact with the outside world. NO releasing any diary room conversations to the house. That area must remain the only safe zone for housemates to go to offload. NO hearing any indication from a baying crowd on eviction night as to who is popular who is not. The moment of announcement is done from studio in silence.
There is so much more that could be mentioned, but all it would take is a top notch production team to ensure they returned the show to greatness. It has reached rock bottom this series, no question, it literally could not be any worse than it is right now. Its either get the paddles out and shout CLEAR……. and do you best to revive the patent, to just turn the machines off and let it rest in peace.
