I dunno, I think it could work - Say she premieres the single at the Hackney Weekend, sends it to radio the same week, then gives it 6 weeks before the release - that'd take us to the end of July, then premiere the next single in September with the release being mid-October, then she'll be able to promote both the album and single on X-Factor too.
Yeah that certainly sounds workable. Just hope SyCo don't go for the lazier, cheaper option of one single in October.
I think all will become clear at the Hackney Weekend.
Good thing about an October release is that if the material is good and the single a good performer on radio, then Leona should be able to sell strongly in the long run up to Christmas - meaning potentially big sales in the UK.
Obviously if the material isn't good and the single performs poorly it might get lost in the Christmas run up but hopefully not!
WHY is everyone assuming Trouble will be launching the album ?! We have not even heard it or the rest of the material yet...
because it was labelled as one of her best ever songs and 'a single' when it was first announced, so it's all on assumption that these 'statements' are true.
We've heard rumours of a track called 'Everything You Are' - does anyone think this could be a new and improved version of 'How Everything You Are' reworked by Fraser T. Smith?
Are we also all now settled that there won't be a summer single and that Syco will stick to plan A and do the usual Syco release of a single in September October and the album in November?

That would be too much to hope for.
Really like the Bleeding Love video from Rays of Sunshine. Sounded amazing.
But Run sounds like her version from XFactor US. Not so pleasant to listen to . (Just my point of view)
