Not sure what is more tragic, the downfall of a influential and well respected publication or someone who smoked weed on stage for a publicity stunt, twerked and went down the route of appearing to have gone downhill rapidly in the public eye leading the poll over Edward Snowden, who exposed the mass Internet surveillance performed by the NSA and GCHQ.

Although, Putin is high on that list too. Goes to show the types who vote.
Putin stood firm against international media lies and continued to stand by Syria. He stopped another Iraq-style US & Israel -led atrocity. He deserves respect for that.

It's not "Best Person of the Year" and afaik never was.
It makes it all a bit more understandable but she's still influenced the news except by creating the most column inches - she isn't changed the world for good or ill - except possibly being a bad influence on young teenage girls.
