I thought the bump was because someone took this advice and has finally found the number,
Even now, someone is sitting with their calculator ready to tell us how many numbers per minute that works out as, and whether or not tea-breaks are allowed, just as soon as the winning number is announced.
My number in my contacts has the number that came with the SIM. I ported my number across to Tesco but they (and I) have been unable to change it to the correct one.
It is isn't it; very odd.
Some of the names on here take me back. (Both the names of posters and long gone phones) Interestingly (or perhaps not) the bumper also posted on this thread eight years back and this appears to be their first post in some seven years.

1) Call 0800 079 0006 from a landline to register the sim - you'll need to give them the sim number (begins 894412) and an IMEI.
2) Register your details and swipe-card (if you have one)
3) They'll advise you of the number, and will give you a 1 pound registration bundle to use for calls and texts (valid for 30 days)
4) Tell 'em you got it via voucher in a magazine and you want the 1000 free texts it should have come with
Most random bump ever

Anyone?
Is it a single or double din?
And this post proves why you should stay off the drugs kids.

Good idea! It worked for Mr Bean!! :D
Type the question into google, loads of techy pages

I think there was one in 2013 that went a decade between posts.
