I am so upset at this.:(

I spoke to Lucy on twitter a number of times and she really gave me hope and strength that eating disorders can be beaten as I suffer from the same illness.

Rest in Peace she will be sorely missed.

I instantly recognised the username but never 'knew' or quoted her in any thread. This is sad news.

    RIP. :(

I believe she was about 24 November - no age whatsoever.:(

I'm so so sad she lost the battle with the dreaded illness.

Huge condolences to her family and friends.

Oh dear, that is young. :( Such a waste of life.

I'm really shocked to hear this, I followed her on Twitter as well. So sad, 24 is no age at all:(

I didn't realise she was only 24. That's no age at all and makes it even more sad for her family.

Goldbear, you must get well for Lucy's sake - don't let this despicable disease take you as well.

Lucy was a lovely lady, a ray of sunshine, she was able to project such a happy warmth when she was struggling like hell just to keep on living.

If any good is to come out of her premature demise, it has to be that other anorexics seek help and recover.

Oh this is so awful. I remember Littlemunchkin's ongoing struggle with anorexia. I didn't know her personally like some posters did but I remember her posts especially the last one asking for advice. Such a sweet person. Her poor family. RIP little M.

Thank you both. I am doing my best. Hearing this news makes me determined to carry on fighting. She always said that she hoped to inspire other sufferers and she has.

It really has brought home to me how vile this disease is. My thoughts are with her family.

Gosh how ridiculously sad. I posted a couple of times on her last thread asking for advice.

She seemed such a lovely person, taken away by such an awful and cruel illness.

    RIP Littlemunchkin.

I just read one of her threads earlier. She wasn't given much time left. How tragic, awful news. :(
