iirc he said on Tuesday that they took photographs on a night with a new moon - the same conditions that there were on the night of the shooting. have i got that completely mixed up in my head? either this is a different set of photos or it's conflicting information.

edit: he's just said he was there before.....

    Where's Kap?

I do so enjoy reading their posts and defense of OP. I'd love their thoughts of this 'expert' now.

It's quite light with the curtains open, but really quite dark when they're closed, except you can see light coming from the bathroom.

With the curtains open you can see loads:o

    It's laughable.

Yes, and done at a totally different time of day to the actual incident.:D

That stern man dressed as if he is about to go into a war zone standing behind the professor is quite scary.

And think of this, we are now onto the bit of expertise that Roger was supposedly brought in to deal with.

Mr bumble is a good name for this guy who doesn't take notes, doesn't notice if lights were on in surrounding houses, doesn't write reports.

My theory is that the Stipps closed their curtains because an odd bearded man in a Robin Reliant kept driving past slowly and taking photos of their bedroom window.

It's Roux I feel sorry for, he has had to produce this witness for his client, because no credible one could be found.

Does anyone know what the rules about doing a deal during the trial is in SA?

I'm sure in the USA the defence team would spend the time off trying to convince their client to do a deal of pleading guilty to culpable homicide with the understanding of a somewhat reduced sentence. Say 9-10 years in prison rather than 15.

That way the state get their conviction but the defendant avoids a murder conviction.

This is going very badly for OP and surely if that sort of deal was possible it would be in his best interests now to get it done.
