Who is she sat behind Dixon in purple... everyday she looks bored as f*ck..

She is the translator and swearer inner.
Very popular on here....we call her Doris for reference
Would you like to play her in our virtual court case?
I think her part is still available, but best check with Rhumba.....she is in charge of casting

Dixon: "I have published in excess of 50 articles and books, both locally and internationally, in the fields of geology, mineralogy, botany and history. In thirteen years I have conducted more than 1000 forensic investigations, in a number of disciplines, and have testified in South African courts as an expert witness in most of them. "

Is this true, he has appeared as an expert witness in over 1000 court cases?

    Or is he lying?

How many of his many testimonies have been later sited in appeal cases?

Does anyone know what the rules about doing a deal during the trial is in SA?

I'm sure in the USA the defence team would spend the time off trying to convince their client to do a deal of pleading guilty to culpable homicide with the understanding of a somewhat reduced sentence. Say 9-10 years in prison rather than 15.

That way the state get their conviction but the defendant avoids a murder conviction.

This is going very badly for OP and surely if that sort of deal was possible it would be in his best interests now to get it done.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I would be extremely surprised if Mr Nel, with the cross examination of OP already done (and quite successfully) AND with Mrs Steenkamp sitting in the gallery, would accept such a plea deal.

Evils from OP in the general direction of Richard Stilgoe.

So OP is not covering his ears from what he did to Reeva ... it's blocking out all the lies of his defense. Oh the irony OP.

For goodness' sake - he asked if either of you walked down the passage way.

And THERE it is, you COULD see a silhouette. Goodness' sake, so longwinded.

    Deliberately misleading.

I wish Nel would have said something. He would have looked more of a fool than he already is.

What would be the point of conducting tests if you're not going to write them up in a report??

Dixon didn't do light test with the balcony light on !!
The Defence have deliberately NOT told him that Oscar had the balcony light on - as it would have affected the test- there were also cracks letting light in , in the curtains when drawn !!!

This is another witness that's great again FOR THE PROSECUTION - Dixon has thrown out Oscar's evidence ! oopsie, hope Roux and Oldiewage have their hip flasks on them for a quick swig !

Mr Bumble is busy on Twitter though:

Tweet from the Daily Telegraph's Aislinn Laing:

"Dixon retweets several #OscarPistorius trial tweets, including one where Barry Roux asks Col Vermeulen if he (Roger Dixon) is competent"

Well his lighting evidence might be a bit "unscientific" but so far it is the only evidence we have other than OP and all our guesses.

a less intelligent question than you're all used to but ..... for those of you watching the trial on sky - is it just me or does the camera angle make Oscar look like Sheldon Cooper?

Not only that, but Roux has to take direction from his counsel and OP, like Nell is going for broke.

Done without the balcony lights though, bit limited as evidence.

Dixon is now effectively destroying the evidence of the next defense witness. It is in the interest of the state to keep this Dixon moron singing like a bird for as long as possible.

When will Roux object and give Dixon thinking time?
