    PSX Scene
Site may be down for a bit while we work on some things. In the meantime, watch out for Giant Enemy Crab.

Do you even understand that pirated content being linked to on that forum gets people banned? There are real PS3 piracy sites out there, maybe you're confusing it with one of them?

Homebrew is running your own code, IE brewed at home. Piracy is the unauthorised copying of someone elses work (for example code, vehicle designs, films, books etc etc). Learn the difference.

Agreed. This discussion again so soon after the last one is already an unappealing prospect, but at least (most of) the other anti-CFW people on here have a clue what they're on about.

Cannae be arsed arguing the point about pirate crap, yes homebrew is a good thing regarding emulaters media players etc, but running pirate games is very dodgy!!!

Erm in most cases unless you have the original game for the titles you are trying to emulate. then emulation in most cases is piracy.

It doesn't matter if there is or not running your own code on a device that you own is completely legal regardless of weather the manufacturer of that device allows you to run your own code.

I know what you meant, but apparently you're for one form of piracy and against another, so you seem confused. To be fair, many other anti-CFW posters on here are the same, it's a common inconsistency.
