Eye witness who was one of people who called police, said it wasn't samurai but there were knives and cleavers and a gun. One of the attackers apparently went to the bus and asked people to take photos of him ??????

The man on to LBC is clearly shaken by this (his wife is still very upset and he is in tears - poor man sounds shocked to me ), he said he saw them hacking at the body(bodies?) he said armed polcie took a while to arrive but he understood why the unarmed police in the street quickly did not approach the actual scene sooner due to the arms involved.

He said it appeared that the attackers seemed to have no intention of escaping they were wandering around during and after the attack as though they were waiting for police.

Is Woolwich a nice area? Or a bit like the rest of London, ie - would be considered a ghetto anywhere else

As far as I can tell, two black guys in a car ran over a white guy, then jumped out and decapitated the guy. Armed police then turned up and took out one or more of the attackers.

BBC News 24 just said "it's certainly not one of the wealthiest areas of London".

I would hardly call the rest of London a ghetto, every area has its good and bad bits and good and bad can happen anywhere. Hoever the eyewitness now on LBC says Woolwich has become dangerous his words were it had gone down and shootings etc

Well there's areas of London that outside of London with the towerblocks and tenement style that would have been demolished years ago or considered no-go areas

I always laugh when they refer to the police as 'feds', like they're in South Central LA, or something.
