    oooh, ta.

    I assume:
They get their jobs back pretty quickly?

    I hope so.
I believe they get their jobs back in Episode 2, and they have to get Becker back as he departed from the ARC after what happens to Sarah. There is also an air of mystery about newcomer Matt, who it is believed may be Danny's younger brother, Patrick...who was referred to as Matt back in the second episode of Series 3 ;):)

8:30/ Thats a pretty late start for a family show, maybe some shuffling is to occur. Still, the series starts soon, and thats the best thing :D

    Great news.

I was so annoyed that ITV's Primeveal got cancelled while dreadful BBC series like Merlin and the even worse "The Deep" were commissioned.

Good to see money was found to keep producing a great show despite ITVs funding problems. It must have taken a lot of "outside the box" thinking to arrange this cooperation.

Really pleased it's coming back. And really surprised too, since I'd heard the new series had been cancelled because of finance. I love Primeval, so can't wait!

So there's five webisodes airing tonight? I thought they would be released daily or something, but according to the website they're all going up tonight at 8pm.

On that note, I was checking out the new website for the first time, and I noticed something weird. I haven't read any spoilers, and I won't be reading any spoilers, so this is all theory, but there could be a few minor spoilers: on the page for 'The Team', it lists all the characters who will be in this series, along with a few who have left, like Danny, Sarah, Helen, Jenny and Cutter. Now that makes me think they're just listing everyone who's been on the team, but Stephen's not on there. I've heard a rumour that Jason Flemyng might make a cameo. So, is there a chance that this list contains just characters who will be in series 4? Meaning a return for Cutter, Helen, etc?

It wouldn't exactly be difficult for them to do, they've had cloning, and they've had a change in the timeline causing differences, so who knows?

Anyway, just over a week left. :D

Interesting. It could well be that Helen made more than one CutterClone and he could make an appearance. I read somewhere that Danny was going to pop up occasionally. I can't remember what happened to Helen in the last series, did she die or just disappear off again?

Helen was killed by a raptor :) Kind of an underwhelming death, but fitting, I guess :p I'm sure they could find a way to bring her back though. I know there was a quote from Juliet Aubrey saying she'd like to return, somewhere.

EDIT: Here. No spoilers, but the way she talks makes a return seem likely, and that she'd definitely be up for it if asked.

EDIT again: Helen's profile on the website says the government has her as 'assumed missing, presumed dead'.
    Hmm.

OMG I have no idea where I've been but the fact there's a 4th series is news to me! And I was gutted to hear that it was cancelled before and so stopped hearing anything about it since, but now this has got me excited!

I dont like Jess so far...too immature and unrealistic

She is very pretty and nice to look at though.

I liked having some real/older women in there to make it a better mix.

Same, which is why I liked Claudia/Jenny (and Helen sort of as well ;) )
and I believe Lucy Brown is coming back later down the line :D

She is a little like a giggly schoolgirl. The actress' description of her made me cringe:
"One one hand, she's very girly - loves socialising and hearing gossip and all that king of thing,"
she explained. "But when she's sitting in front of her hub in the ARC, she's the most efficient person you could ever have in that job."

No offence to Ruth Kearney, she's a good actress. It just seems a little weird having this girly girl hanging around off of every word Becker says.

And another thing, not a complaint or anything, but in the webisodes (ugh), the ARC looked ridiculously different. What is it about this show that means they can't use the same sets? Abby's flat was different from each series, the ARC changed from series 2 to 3, and now again in 4. Even on the outside. Even the characters seem to differ in looks quite a lot. It's weird.

It seems more serious from the webisodes, maybe it'll lighten up when its a full episode.
The webisodes do have me intrigued though. Becker seems to be playing a bigger role than before, which is good. And I want to know who the bloke Matt keeps phoning is and what they're both up to. Good to Lester's back as well. I'm not sure about the new ARC, doesn't look as impressive as the old one but maybe I just need to see more of it. I wonder what happened to Rex and the two babies while Abby and Connor have been away, hope someone's been feeding them!

I will wait and see how the character progresses:)...hard to judge from the snippets we have but havent seen any of this mature efficiency in those.

This will turn out to be a major plot development. Its not actually the same ARC anymore :)
