Whatever happened to the Strike games of the 90s, where you controlled an Apache helicopter? Desert Strike, Jungle Strike, Soviet Strike. I remember Nuclear Strike on the N64, but nothing since
Would love a new isometric shooter, with updated mechanics and helicopters of the Strike series
Probably not PC to make them anymore.........
also the original Rainbow Six games, with your teams assembled and planning & timing key when assaulting buildings, and executing orders
more "reality" and less slo mo, bullet time, fast roping, etc
I would also love a solid remake of Tenchu, with fabulously tight controls and camera angles.......and new Syphon Filter
Nothing too fancy, just AI updates, and tight fluid controls
I also loved games like Jedi Power Battles, and playable, jump in a go platformers (yes we have Mario), but what about Kid Chameleon, or Decap Attack, Ghouls and Ghosts, Earthworm Jim, James Pond etc
Survival horror, original Res Evil 1-3, Silent Hill etc, both going back to its roots...strong storylines, huge arena's, taxing puzzles.........single player epics
Maybe I should just find the games and a PS1/2
and maybe a retro football management game, to run on the latest hardware.......but not be as complex and fiddly like the latest iterations
Donkey Kong. I haven't had a Nintendo console since the Game Cube (and I don't want one) but was disappointed with them never making a new Donkey Kong (besides the stupid music ones and spin-offs, as well as inviting him and sometimes Diddy to Mario's parties).
After a quick Google search I see stuff about Donkey Kong Country. I'm thinking of a Donkey Kong 64 sequel.

They never disappeared completely and have been back with a vengeance in the last few years. See my post on the previous page for some examples.

Good news is that they are still around, with most of their back catalogue available as free downloads(mainly DOS)

Bad news is that they tried Kickstarter for a Wings remake, but failed miserably
My 3 favourite Cinemaware games were Rocket Ranger, Wings and It Came From The Desert.
