Disappointed Dannii hasn't mentioned Aiden single at all.
He said in the interview that she has texted him, and also that he hopes to do a tour (which he said without using the word tour) towards the end of the year.

I've just realised that I have never actually bought a single. First time for everything I s'pose!
I can't say in what decade I bought my first single, but I haven't bought one for over 10 years!
I want my sinlge purchase to count in this week's chart. How can I make sure I do that? Oh, and I want a CD - Do CDs count any more in the charts??? Perhaps I will get the download as well.
Make no mistake,chart position counts.It has to be top 10 at the very least. Whatever we think about Aiden, he is the end product of a marketing machine and will be unceremoniously dumped if the figures aren't commercially acceptable. He already said Mr Cowell is paying the rent....
I am so nervous about the single release. I love his voice and music regardless of chart position but we can't ignore the fact that he needs to do quite well to avoid the "Aiden's flopped" tongue waggings which I would hate. I only buy singles selectively, like one every 2 years or something but this I definitely won't spare this. In fact I am going all out and going to get as many as 10 copies to gift a few friends just to spread the recognition of genuine talent. I have my fingres crossed it does well. I mean we have all wanted this since we saw him nearly 2 years ago and now that we have gotten a singe out of him we will do our best to give it the kind of chart position and recognition it deserves.
I hope Aiden appears on This Morning/ BBC breakfast show or some kind of day time TV as well as a performace or interview on Chatty Man, Grahame Norton etc. I'm not sure if there is any but I think it will help his sales massively. The thing with Aiden and Is This Love is just lack of awareness and if anything is preventing him doing extremely well it will be the lack of exposure compared to other similar artist. I think almost everyone who hears Is This Love likes it so it just needs a final grand push so more people hear it and that's it.
to be honest I don't think his management have the daytime tv and mainstream chat show scene in mind for him, I think his promo is more geared towards career longevity than creating hits?

You can't sustain a career without hits and TV promo is essential in that. He's with a major label...they're fully expecting him to ride high on the charts.
But i suspect that they'll be saving all the big promo slots he can get until closer to the album release.

I watched a documentary on Ron Jeremy about 10 years ago, he's an 'interesting' fella.
I'm pretty sure if Aiden wanted to be a porn star he could aspire to be a rather less ugly one though
