Is Virgin down in Bristol?

Anyone lost their broadband in the Bristol area this morning?
I lost broadband about two hours ago and rang Virgin on my mobile to tell them that there are council workers working on the pavement outside my house and I believe they may have cut through the cable to my house however having rang Virgin in some far of land they tell me that the whole area is out hence this call.
One hell of a coincidence though if the network just happens to be down when the council are digging up the pavement right where my cable enters my property.
So anyone down in Bristol.
