Because I'm a nice human being and not a heartless cow and I know how 1 bad and selfless parent can bugger up a kid for life. Also as someone in the public eye (even if she does it herself) she has a responsibility on what she does and how it impacts on others (including young girls that look up to her). People tend to copy those they "admire" and I wonder how many young girls are picking on others girls they think are bigger than them and calling them heffers "because Katie does that so it's ok"?

    That answer your question ?

But you were making a wrong point about those two conditions by comparing finger pointing to someone who has had a downs child or a child suffering from SB IMO.

You really have illusions of Katie's power.. As if girls will go round calling other girls heffer cos she called Kelly Brook a Heffer.. Really?

Sadly Johartuk.... Many people do .. Just think if she didn't ..some on here would have nothing to do with their time ;)

I can't take KP's admitting to making mistakes seriously when she blythley continues to repeat them. It suggests that it's all just empty words with her.

Why not? What Katie said just adds fuel to the "it's ok to take the piss out of someone who looks different to me and doesn't conform to how I look" fire doesn't it?

Kids do pick up on comments like that.

Not really.. Some people know they make mistakes ..admit they do.. But don't always learn not to do it again.. Human nature

So that makes it alright then! Sorry, but that's the kind of attitude that's made KP the person she is today. I wonder when was the last time a family member or friend looked her in the eye and called her on her behavior? I suspect never, because they all seem to be spineless and happy to sit back and take the money.

It was also discussed on the internet and ended up being mentioned in other newspapers and magazines. Basically, when you're in the public eye, your comments do tend to end up being splashed all over the media.

To be fair, you don't have to read that newspaper to find out about the comment. I read about it on here for example. At the end of the day like it or not, Jordan for some reason is a role model for some and her criticising a perfectly healthy woman and calling her a heffer is stupid and dangerous. What if her fans are Kelly's size? I imagine quite a few will be. What does if tell them? They are heffers too? Say what you like about Kelly Brook. Fat she isn't.

When did I say it was right??? As we are not privvy to her life 24/7 we don't know if anyone has said anything to her.. I wouldn't say her mother is spineless at all.

And that is what I've answered .. IT'S GENETIC .. is that clear enough ...Obviously for some that answer won't be accepted because then the finger of blame can't be pointed at Katie.. In my family we have members with Downs and Spina biffada .. Should I point the finger at my mother cos it might of been something she did when pregnant??

No-one has any interest in your family. That's your own business & I would advise you in the kindest possible way to be very careful putting personal issues out there publicly in defense of a woman who would step over you in the street to get to a nail appointment.
We are discussing KP and that article clearly says
It is likely that although other genetic abnormalities are likely to be identified in the future, environmental factors such as drugs, alcohol and anterior cerebral artery supply during the neonatal period may also play a significant role in the aetiology of SOD.

You repeatedly saying it doesn't apply to KP makes no difference. It DOES apply. It is there in black & white in a published article on the condition by people with no axe to grind or anything to hide/excuse.
If you continue to choose to believe KP then that is entirely up to you,but the fact remains that alcohol/drug consumption during pregnancy is considered a possible contributor to that condition.

Wrong. It started in the Sun & then went elsewhere.......including twitter where thousands of young people read & tweet. She spent weeks fielding criticism on there for those comments.

Didn't she also tweet a zoomed in photo of Kelly's tit just to ridicule her? Is that a good example to her 'fans' on twitter & facebook?

That's the work of a 13 year old girl. Not a middle aged woman. Why do that then expect to be taken seriously as a businesswoman with teenage fans?

I don't think 34 is middle aged even if she looks it! ;):D

It's half of 68. According to the Telegraph
"Middle age begins at 35 and ends at 58"

Flippin' hell - what comes after 58?

    'Old age' presumably. :D

At 34, she's not quite middle aged - well, not until May 22nd. ;)

I find your first lines abusive and rude and will no longer reply to anything you wish to address to me .. I am entitled to my say ..just the same as you are.. I don't choose to believe Katie Price over how Harvey's condition occurred ..I choose to believe the specialists who she had on her shows many years ago when Harvey was first diagnosed.it says a lot about you that the only thing you want to do is blame her for her sons disabilities .. Notice the word in capitals ... MAY ... not that it does ...

Funny that cos I've read her books and she does admit to mistakes she has made

Shame she doesn't carry that admittance over into her real life.

You also forget some drone writes her books for her. Katie would be hard pushed to write the alphabet herself.

That's OK Betty. Please quote where I said you are not entitled to your say .I would never do that. I was actually giving kind advice re putting things on open forums, especially about other family members rather than yourself, but I respect your decision to ignore as something you feel best for you .
My posts say nothing about me other than my opinions, but feel free to judge me,I truly don't mind.

She had no specialist on her shows. What self respecting specialist would appear in a stupid show like that ? They have more important things to do,like saving lives. Please post a link to that appearance & I'll admit I'm wrong. It was always KP "said" they said.

Yes ,I agree, the article said "may" .I've been saying that for two pages . Which indicates might or might not.We are finally getting somewhere rather than a def "NO" from you, which is good.
