Ripping DVD's!

I have a Plextor media player and i've tried ripping some of my dvd's on this.

Unfortunately when i try to watch it through the media player the quality is crap and the screen flickers....totally not watchable.

What am i doing?

I've been using Prism video convertor?

    Which Plextor model is it?

Some players can accept DVD folders, so you could just rip the whole DVD to your hard drive and copy it to your player without converting.

This method uses more space, but will yield the best quality, plus you would keep all the menus and extras.

    Agreed

I used to do that with my Plextor PX-760A, basically just dragged and dropped the folder from the drive to my HDD
