Should tell Good Morning Britain that. They say 'he's been known to have drug problems and nearly killed himself falling out of his car last year.'
Exactly it is unknown at present.
I was watching GMB which is where I picked it up. I deliberately did not mention his previous problems because as you say, it is unknown. I thought it was a bit out of order. They should just state the facts. Not a particular GM fan (he seems a bit self obsessed, great voice) but they have added a layer of speculation on what should be a straightforward news report.
In any case, it turns out it happened last Thursday. He is back home now. That fact was a bit buried in their sensational reporting
He's is such an incredible musician but has his demons. Agree he is self absorbed and probably a diva but remains popular because of his talent and creativity. Think we Brits also love someone who has their ups and downs - it makes him more human!
Hoping this is an everyday problem which has been resolved rather than a return to the substance challenges he has faced in the past.

I am a massive fan of George but as you say he does have his demons to face and he always seems far too intense.
Hope his illness is nothing serious and that he makes a full recovery soon.
A friend insists George has AIDS and that is the real cause of so many health problems and his use of drug.
Got to be honest, when he did that press conference a couple of years ago outside his house after having pneumonia, I assumed he was going to announce that.
His life is certainly taking some twists and turns.

Have you got a source for this?
Sorry it's on the main headlines on DS.

It's the front page of The Sun this morning
I don't read the sun but saw the story on the main page of DS.
I think he hasn't been the same since his mother died.
He hasnt been the same since the toilet incident
A new album imminent?

He has an enormous talent.
Nice.
Is your friend as immediately judgemental about every gay man who is ill - assuming he has AIDS?
Considering his stance on not getting tested, I wouldn't be surprised if that was the root of his problems.
Who the **** knows what's going on with him though?
Sort it out, Michael!
He could be one of those, And he just happens to be in the public eye.
Best not to assume this or that just because of who he is and what he does
Yes, actually she does. I said to her the other day about Andy Bell, has he got AIDS she asked? Er, no. He had aged!!!
Andy Bell does actually have HIV though.
GMB have fast become a real example of what gutter journalism is. Horrible little programme.
I'm not even a George Michael fan but GMB seriously gets up my nose.
This.
The whole THEY'RE GAY SO THEY MUST HAVE AIDS thought process is cave person mentality. Everyone should have evolved beyond that by now.
Oh, see I never even thought about that. Saw a video recently and thought, "Oh boy he looks so much older now." But then we all do.
