I first had a subscription to PC Plus when the cover disk was a 5.25" floppy disk. Currently read PC Pro but find it comparatively uninspiring.
Would be interested to know what magazines, if any, forum users read and recommend nowadays for keeping up to date with products and systems.

I get all my tech news from the net. I just find magazine articles are often written differently, like there is no rush?
Also I love the little extras that's in their and because I've paid I read everything including stuff I wouldn't necessarily read on the net.

Web User is the world’s only magazine for people who live and breathe the internet. It makes advanced tips easy to follow, explains brilliant new ways readers can do things better and faster online. We have loyal, web-loving readers who are eager to know the best new software, websites, apps and products they should try and buy.
I bought that once. It's interesting but it's more about the internet than computing and tech in general. If you're looking for a general computing magazine then PC Advisor or PC Pro are the best. Computeractive is ok too. Computer Shopper is basically a buyer's guide.

Then I moved on to Computer Active, but then moved on to PCW once I realised it was a bit too simple. Once they closed I'd occasionally buy a Pc Pro.
But nothing for a few years now.
