Fibre Broadband from BT discovered

I just recently learnt a little more about BT’s new fibre broadband. BT are aiming to deliver fibre optic broadband to 10 million homes by 2012.

This is great for the majority of us who can’t enjoy Virgin’s version which has been around longer than BT’s fibre based broadband it seems.

At present, BT up offering it’s wholesalers and retail customers speeds up to 40 Mbps down and 10 Mbps upload. This however, is sure to change over 2011 as more customers jump on!

This is very old news - but they aren't really covering many new areas, mainly areas that already get VM.

Montrose has just been picked as one of only four Scottish towns to get this by Spring 2012. So, those of you that already have it, is it worth moving over to BT for?
