I think they have the talent to back up not being just anothr teenage fad band. Although saying that their being the subject of an article on sugarscape daily and being in magazines like teenage now shows that they do have a fanbase like that. One thing I've noticed is that they genuinely do have a very young fanbase and I think of all the acts it was probably them (and Rylan maybe, he was very fun lol) that had the most appeal to the youngest fans of the show. I saw a comment that Triple J were 'edgy which I think was a bit silly' - to be honest all four of them are pretty much the antithesis of that lol. Not that's a bad thing of course. I think one of main the reasons Nuvibe failed to catch on was because they at least tried to give off that sort of feel. So I don't think they should entirely neglect that fanbase, but at the same time shouldn't cater exclusively to it. Not sure how they'll manage to juggle the two but I'm sure them/management/the record label will come up with something.
And yeah Rylan must be exhausted lol. I think CBB was a worthwhile thing for him to do though.

Yeah they definitely shouldn't neglect that part of the fanbase, but they shouldn't make it impossible to transition into something else at a later date either. Don't mean to start comparisons but with 1D for example I don't really see where else they can go music wise once they get older but unfortunately it's a price you have to pay when you cater exclusively to the younger demographic. I think if they have a mix of songs then they can keep their younger fanbase while appealing to more of the general public at the same time.
I love the fact that the girls scream the most when Josh sings. They actually had a better reaction to Josh than George, which surprised me.. because George is the favorite. They seemed to LOVE Josh's solo though. I totally get it too..
