Anyone wanna comment on my post last night about who the Banker is? :P
No mystery John, the banker is the producer of the show, as you named Glenn Hugill, former actor in Coronation Street. Worst kept secret in TV it must be.
What's with the mysterious comment from continuity Richie, before the show began? I missed that.

I heard that from the announcer but there was nothing during the game that made it different or special, (a very boring game really). Oh we did have ......... rollerskaters!

I caught the second half of the game only, and it was dull dull dull! Fans really turn onto DOND to see roller skaters don't they....not. Why are the players on Deal seeming like Britain's Got Talent / X Factor hybrids nowadays, and let me not forget little Welsh Sam Evans who won Big Brother last Monday evening, who was on Deal last year and won £7,000. (Dexter was robbed!)
So the apparent requirements nowadays for being a chosen one to the "Cult Of The Dream Factory" are;
1) A perceived entertaining talent to show off.
2) A singing ability.
3) An appalling family tragedy or illness history to be milked.
4) An ethnic or non British backround.
5) A general media **** who hawks themselves around TV shows.
6) An extrovert.
7) A player, but just as long as you are not too much of a gambler.
8) A willingness to maintain the cult like status on the wings.
Yet do any of these points create better games players on DOND? No.
I hate it when Noel keeps reminding us what happened earlier. He told us about the same thing FIVE times in one show!
FFS, we do have catch-up you know! :mad:

How they must have had fun erasing his comments out of the show that followed Danny's game. Now that is one re-cap I would quite like to hear, but one that has been comprehensively buried it seems.
