After hearing Into The Groove by Madonna on a tinpot local radio station earlier today, made me think that Desperately Seeking Susan has not been on the telly for a while.Watched its premiere on BBC2 in January 1989 but not seen it since, like to see how it stands up today
The Wizard (Nintendo movie)
Supergirl

Those have been on ITV2 in recent times, also Another Stakeout.
1 of the best movies Ive seen in a long time and don't think its being on tv before is Ed Gein- True story with the brilliant Carrie Snodgess.Other crackers to watch out for is Skeletons, with Christopher Plummer, Night of the Wolf-Robert Urich, Clover Bend- Robert Urich, While She Was Out-Kim Basinger,The Glory Boys,-Rod Steiger, Fate-Michael Pare, Lee Majors, Where Truth Lies-Malcolm McDowall, White Water Summer- Kevin Bacon, The Sea Wolf-Charles Bronson.
I know that A Nightmare on Elm Street and New Nightmare (Part 7) have been on TV before but have the other sequels been shown on tv? (Parts 2,3,4,5 &6)

They were all regulars on Sky Movies and The Movie Channel (showing my age!) back in the early days of Sky TV.
Freddy's Dead (Part 6) has been shown on Channel 5 before, as has Freddy's Revenge (Part 2), which finally made it to terrestrial in the early 2000's.
Dream Warriors (Part 3), from my memory, has never been on the main 5 channels and I do not remember it being shown on freeview. I find that strange because it was actually one of the most popular horror/fantasy films of the 1980's. It's also a pretty good movie.

Part 5 has been showing on one of the Freeview channels recently. VIVA I think it was.
You hardly see any of the films with the Hollywood Greats anymore. you know, those of you of a certain age will remember the Saturday Matinees on BBC2 when you used to see Bogart, Cagney, Davis, Crawford, Hepburn, Tracy, Stewart, Grant etc. Channel 5 and BBC2 just seem to show the cheapie Universal westerns or very obscure RKO films.
You never see a lot ofthe films from the 70's such as Missing, Norma Rae, Kramer Vs Kramer, All that Jazz, Coma etc. It would be nice to see some of these
The horror film DEAD SNOW
Michael Winterbottom's film 9 SONGS
The Rodriguez/Tarantino film DEATHPROOF has been on Sky Movies but not PLANET TERROR
You kidding mate 9 songs will never be on tv.Ive seen this film and its pure Hardcore porn almost with very strong sex scenes nearly in every scene. If its ever n tv rest assured it will be cut to bits.
For a film with a stand out cast, and the last appearance on film of some true comedy giants, 'Yellowbeard' never gets shown. I saw it once, years ago. Can't remember it since. It's not great, but a definite curio worth a watch.
Gilda. It's only 74 years old and though I'm not nearly that old, honest I've never seen it on the TV and have looked out for it. It's one of those classic film noirs, I love that type.
