Stephen Mulhern telling someone from Westlife it's good The Loveable Rogues sung their own song. :D

Boyzone were just as guilty for doing covers as well.

    All manufactured.

Is this the lad who sang a love song to the un-named girl?

    That's the one. :D
    Can someone please explain?
So he was kicked disqualified because he's signed for another show as well? What show?

The Voice of Ireland. He was signed to Universal but they released him from his contract so he could compete on Britain's Got Talent.
So now he's not disqualified and has been given a wildcard?
Or there will be a vote for a wildcard to let another act in and he's been un-disqualified?

The wildcard will be one act from the losing semi-finalists once all five semis have been completed. Ryan isn't the wildcard.

    Indeed.
SCowell wants someone who can record a Christmas album.
Then another for Mother's Day/Father's Day.
He's dying for a child act to win.

A Variety act doesn't equal the same amount of money to be made as a singing act.

Now if that dog CAN sing - Simon will be well happy.

Especially after Ronan missing out last year. He's said before that he wants a British Bieber.

He allegedly signed a contract with The Voice Ireland to do the Voice tour and got found out

Simon kicked him out of BGT but he was reinstated as he conveniently got out of said contract

    oh, right!
    Many thanks.

I didn't know there was an Irish The Voice.

And I hadn't seen the guy on the Voice that's showing in the UK now, so I wondered what show everyone was talking about.

    So the lad was un-disqualified.
But did he get through to the semi finals in the same way as all the others this week or have they bent the rules for him, then?

    Thank you.
You all amaze me how you remember everyone's names.

Didn't he sign that one to a contract anyway?

    Thanks.

With the line, "Touch me now, I close my eyes & drift away."

Appropriate line for an 11 year old to be staring in to the camera singing.

It's a paedo's paradise with some of the songs these kids sing.

The same way as the others. He auditioned, got put through, was (supposedly) originally put through after the judges deliberation then disqualified once it was revealed he had the Universal contract.

Kian's pretty harsh - can we have him as a judge next year? :D

A little gutting for tomorrow night again. Some good variety acts lumped in against two singers that will likely get most of the votes. Fear for the magic act up against the two main male singers.

OIf course we have the awesome Gatis tomorrow, cant wait :D

So, how does this work then? Do you have separate laptops, or take it in turn to log in?

    Another question ...

is it sad that I'm actually wondering about this? :o

We have seperate PCs + seperate desk's but they are next to each other. We both log in together sometimes, other times SULLA is on here i'm on other sites.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY xx :D

    Thanks Fudd!

    One more question [sorry] -
if he was disqualified, and then reinstated, was his semi final place given to another act and then taken from them when he was reinstated
or did they put him 'on hold' until his contract issue was sorted?

He won't be getting a judge gig with those sort of sensible comments. :D

Yep. And there's no money to be made from a variety act after the show. Singers on the other hand. Kerching!

Indeed. Ian Hyland was tweeting about The Mend getting the wild card rather than 4 corners for the very same reason

    No problem. :)

We have to presume that the place was put on hold as we only saw 44 acts put through on Saturday night and then Ryan became the 45th act.
