Wouldn't it be funny if Kitty won in Moldova and they went on to beat Switzerland

Seems Kitty has now sent her song to Moldova :)

This is the UK form of Europe-wide promotion. She'll be our entry come May. :D

The repeat offender Sasha Bognibov is back with a song called Emigrants. Fortunately or unfortunately it's not in English but one can imagine its sentiment. Sunstroke Project return with a not so epic sax guy moment and Eduard Romanyuta who was a regular in Ukraine is not letting their absence stop him from having another go and I don't think Kitty is the only Swiss failure on the list.

Kitty is now going to the press and claiming that the BBC have banned her from Eurovision "unofficially" as she is X Factor alumni. Loose cannon.

I hate to piss on everyone's chips regarding Sweet Brains' chances in Moldova, but they haven't made it to the whittled down list of 50 songs that will be going through the live audition round in January.........

    http://esctoday.com/91893/moldova-60-o-melodie-pentru-europa-acts-revealed/

plus, even if they had qualified they still had the problem of their song basically being a rip off from this......

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0rCczEJ2C7k

So, it would seem you can kill a zombie quite easily.:p

Sasha Bognibov failed yet again too......that must be some kind of record by now.

I was always wondering about the rule if an act can enter as many national finals they want in the one season....looks like Kitty answered that question for me:)
I'd love to see her Vienna but chances are non-existent for her.

I wonder if she submitted her song to any more. She probably told her agent she wants to go to Eurovision and they're doing all they can to make it possible.

Didn't Ireland recently have a call for songs? I'm surprised she went to Switzerland and Moldova first before going to them.

...But no one ever votes for Ireland! :( UK and Ireland don't take ESC seriously! :(:D:kitty:

Before and after the weekend? Does that mean there is more than one news story?

I'm hoping a début or returning country although I'm setting my expectations to something a little less exciting. Hosts?

    Lithuania's participants have been announced

TEAM ANYONE BUT MIA! I especially hope Monika finally gets her chance, though.

They didn't seem to mind Andy Abrahams. Mind you, perhaps it's his subsequent result that put them off The X Factor alumni!

I was hoping for Bulgaria but some people are reporting another absence from them :(

It will be something boring, always is when they hype something. Probably the hosts

Can't they just buy her a ticket? :p

Bulgaria are out and this time they really mean it.
    http://esctoday.com/89999/bulgaria-bnt-confirms-participation-eurovision-2015-2/

I hope that wasn't the 'other' piece of exciting news.

Is that the official Bulgarian Broadcaster's Eurovision twitter? Just seems weird since it's all in English except the picture.

Not sure I understand the decision by the broadcaster... JESC got a 40% ratings share this year.
