As we approach the final of this series of Strictly, wouldn't it be good to view the good, the bad and the ugly in dances gone by? I don't have the technical know-how to find and post links to these - can someone help? For a start I'd like to revisit the famous bacofoil turkey from Brendan and La Snowden, Michael Vaughan's jive (?), Ramps' Argentine tango, Colin Jackson's quickstep and Zoe's paso doble. Christmas Fairy, where are you?

As Craig says - a proper, proper Quickstep. Wonderful and light. I loved Colin & Erin. So good to see all these old clips ( no props, straight into the dance, lots of in-hold) - bring back the old style SCD!!
Loved Vincent and Rachel's Rumba https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brvFMgzgpR8
Harry and Aliona's AT https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-brNVdVUVE

SCD season 2 was my first season. And I have been with it ever since.
Maybe not the right place, but my gawd that shows how naff the AT has been danced this year.

One of the all-time great television moments. Even the camerawork was good.
Rob Brydon's face just sums it all up.
I wasn't going to go that far, scared of incurring some members objection to such a statement, but yeah best AT ever, no argument.
But then they were my favouritist couple ever on SCD, ever.

I could have qualified it with 'in light entertainment' but I can honestly remember every moment of watching it at the time, and anything that makes that impact has to be something special.;-)
So THAT'S where the producers got the idea for Mark's Superman Paso!
Whoever made that video should be ashamed of themselves
Yeah, me too. It was moody, evocative and sublime. The fact that I was 'quite' enamoured with Ramps (ahem!) is neither here nor there!
And one case of non-trad music that worked.
They just looked the part completely. It sort of transcended the contest, into a real dance couple dancing it.
