The thread about London got me longing for another visit. So many places, shopping, museums, parks, markets, river walks and rides, general sightseeing.

What's your favourite?

I like St Giles Cripplegate, David Hicks’s knot garden by Salters’ Hall and Postman’s Park. I adore London, there are so many hidden gems. Me and my sister were given open top bus tickets as a birthday present once, that was a fabulous day out. I've never lived or worked there, and wouldn't want to, but I really like visiting the city.

Don't think I've really got one, just tend to like exploring some of the little streets off the main ones, the parks, a walk along the Thames.

It's too hard for me to choose. I love St James Park, Primrose Hill, Golders Park.

Camden Market and canal ride. Richmond by the river. Brixton Market and Brixton buzz. Petticoat Lane on Sunday mornings.

Leicester Sq and Soho . Greenwich. Embankment. South Bank generally pull me to them.

    It's all so good!

Lots of places. All depends on the time of year, what's happening and the weather.

Given a nice sunny day you can't beat a wander along the South Bank with lots of bars, restaurants and things to see. Walking through Whitehall and Westminster really feels like you are in the capital of the world. If you want to escape the city without leaving the city then Greenwich is fantastic with some great museums.

The view across to Canary Wharf from Greenwich Park.

I also used to love having a drink at Jack Straw's Castle in Hampstead, and the Pub On The Park at London Fields, Hackney.

London is a wonderful, fascinating historical city with so much to do there. It is a shame it is filled with rude, obnoxious people who have no manners and don't care unless they are doing what they want to do and sod everyone else.

The lake in Queen Mary Gardens in Regents Park

It's just the most beautiful place, especially when the sun is shining........the lake, weeping willows, a waterfall, reed beds, ducks, fragrant shrubs and bushes, roses, two bridges, an island.

I sometimes go really early in the morning before people start appearing......:D

I go for the weekend 2 or 3 times a year for a gig or sporting event but it can be cheaper to fly to Madrid, Rome or Berlin and you have a better chance of good weather in those places.

I love all the main parks, but I love Green Park for its location.

One minute you're in the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly, you turn through a gate and you're in a green oasis of calm. Almost surreal!
