    Aileen Quinn in "Annie"

I don't care what the Razzie Awards said, she was awesome in that movie.

As much as i love Ms Streep, i found her singing atrocious in Mamma Mia. None of the cast were good at singing, apart from Amanda Seyfried.

And yes, Jean Hagan is incredible in Singin in the rain. I can't believe i forgot that.

Big Meryl/Walters/Baranski fan, but MM is just embarrassing (even for die-hard Abba fans :p). Atrocious is a good word for the entire enterprise. Doesn't even have 'camp' to save it. Postcards From The Edge is a much better Meryl musical performance. And what a cast!

Roll on Into The Woods (2014?) - Meryl as the Witch. A proper musical to get her teeth into.

Yeah she is the best thing about Grease. I do like Grease but for me Travolta and Newton-John were not the best thing about it. I think any actors could of played those roles, where as Channing played Rizzo how she wanted to.

I've got a Superman version (original Christopher Reeves) with some extras, one of which is some screen tests including Stockard Channing - and she would have a made a wonderful Lois Lane, I have no doubt.

I don't think it's meant to be brilliant. Meryl has said that she signed up for the film so that she could embarrass her children!

Russ Tamblyn in Tom Thumb. I love the scene where the toys come alive and he dances with them.

I don't think Mamma Mia is meant to be taken too serious either, but I do love Meryl's version on Slipping through my fingers

    That's one of my favourites.

Also, Fred and Ginger in 'Top Hat'. Such a funny film, that.
