And how old were you.
I'm just trying to reassure myself im not a lost cause as all my friends and family met "the one" before they were 22!

Don't give up, I have had several G/Fs in my life, but I didn't meet MY "one" until I was 53, we have been together for 4 years now,
How did we meet? on an internet forum similar to this one!! we started of with just 'banter' this led to 'forum flirting' we found a way to exchange email addresses, eventually met up, and have been living together for almost 2 years,
:D
Thought I would get in first.
Joking met her years ago at a rugby match, hate each other now.
edit:
sorry I was 30
23 and 27 when we met, 25 and 29 when we started going out, 29 and 34 when we got married.
What a coincidence.. so did I!!!
I was ... oh wait. Daren't say that!!!!!
I was two years younger than I am now
maybe i should start worrying:-)
We met when I was 37 and he was 35.
Don't want everyone knowing I'm 29!!! Ssh.
Did you turn her into someone new?
Actually "she was more like a beauty queen from a movie scene"
15 years later we're still (very) happily married.
OP you have loads of time.
Prom.
We were in the same school, same years, different social crowds for five years and had barely exchanged more than 10 words in that time. I fancied him, he thought i was 'fit', but it didn't amount to anything till prom. He tried to dance with me (terrible dancer) and then plucked up the courage to ask for my number.
6 and a half years later im as happy as ever
I was 15, he was 16. Now 21 and he's 22. (you've missed the boat!!! )
and she/he ended up as the target for your affections?
ha-ha bleurgh! not you, me
i'm sure you can more than one "the one" so don't worry about it!
I do get jealous of people who were aged 12 when they met, married at 18 etc etc....but then I think, goodness, yep Ive shagged around and had some fun in my 20s and am glad I did that! I wonder whether those who married young have a slight envy for those who were able to "have fun" in their 20s and 30s.
At least she didn't recoil his advances.
Or run off like a shot
