She's beautiful but the writers aren't using her to her full potential. All she does is babysit kids and sit like a lemon while her family get the big storylines - Izzy's surrogacy, Owen's relationships with Anna and Fay, Fiz's ongoing dramas. I'd like to see her get wholly fed up with her current set up and break out a bit. Some ideas:
-Facing financial strife, looking in The Gazette for part time work and seeing an ad for "hostesses". She goes along and gets sucked in by a charming boss and ends up getting sucked into the escort world
-Wanting to return to education and make something of herself
-Getting so fed up with screaming kids that she recruits Eva for a girlie night on the lash and meets a handsome stranger who helps her forget her boring life on the cobbles...
I don't get how Michelle Keegan gets all the attention when Georgia is a hundred times better looking then her.
I think it's because Tina's more at the forefront of the show as a Barmaid in the Rovers, gets more airtime and wears more flattering clothes. If Katy had that treatment she'd get the attention.

Thats an idea. katie to work in the rovers. Im surprised stella hasn`t thought of that. the more gorgeous the barmaid the more guys comes in. I mean katie doesn`t have the cleavage of tina but looks wise she is way out in front of all of them.

I said to my daughter last night that if katie stays in CS I can see most of her storylines being about affairs with good looking men. The writers may prove us wrong and make Katie and Chesney the new Jack and Vera, Hilda and Stan.
