Our friend Debbie (Callias Cavies) she had her beloved whippets stolen from her home Tuesday while she was at her children's school. You can download posters from doglost.co.uk here are the details

http://www.doglost.co.uk/dog_blog.php?dogId=26811

Please please PLEASE can everyone be on the look out for whippets for sale or trade the more people we tell the better chance we have for getting these babies home to Debbie - she is willing to buy them back if necessary.

PLEASE HELP if you can post on every forum you're on weather it's animal related or not

THANK YOU

This was quite common up here a few months ago, about 6 or 7 different dogs were taken from local farms, within about a week of each other. one woman was hanging her washing out and left the dog out to play, he was gone half hour later! Sadly none of them were found/returned.

They breed them for pups to sell as well.

You won't find them nicking mongrels.

They're not that fussy, they sell plenty lurchers round here.

    Lurchers yeah.

They do like a lurcher. Helps with their poaching.

I'll post the details over at Lurcher Link. Sadly they're all too familiar with stolen hounds. :( Only recently a member bought her own dog back from (most likely) the man who stole it.

ETA: I've posted in chat, you need to be a member to do that but if she goes over to LL and looks at the Lost and Found section there's a form she can fill in that will be shared in sighthound forums/rescues.
