I normally like this show, but this has turned into an old style farce.

Where's the vicar and the bloke with his trousers round his ankles.

    Bloody ridiculous.

I love this programme, I think it's great and the characters are endearing and hilarious.

So do I normally. Tonight's episode was a step too far.

If you'll pardon the pun. Step, shoes get it? It wasn't planned!

Colleen is great...and seriously, seriously hot. Je-sus.

Yes, it's mad as a cheese slice but I love the characters and there are enough laughs in.

Yup colleen was right at the top of the hotness scale in this episode.
Hodge makes the series for me...just love the facial expressions.

I think they were pushing their luck tonight, still amusing and the relationship between the characters, is a huge plus.
I also fancy all 3 of the female leads.
It's got enough charm for me to come back next week and it won't be a hardship.

I'm still confused about this Lexus/Job business with Glynn, would be nice if they did something about it, it's giving me the pip.
The bathroom/ruined ceiling business has been forgotten too.

It's a 3rd rate Early Doors. Make that 5th rate.
I am guessing that Ricky Tomlinson was considered for the part of Ken but he just wasn't good looking enough;)

Apparently ratings were up last week, so hopefully a sign that it's getting more popular.

    Of course it was silly.

It would have been logical for Begsy to stay at Hodge's house while they were away.

    Haven't missed an episode yet:p

    Really enjoying the series too.

Had to smile when they called into that country pub for lunch when they were camping. It is the Hare And Hounds on Werneth Low, only a 20 minute drive from the centre of Stockport!

Begsy has got his own house, but he's always hanging around his Mum's, that explains why he always knocks before eventually using his key to get in, where did you think he was taking his ironing to?
In anycase he wanted to be with his mates, because of the Shoes business.

Excellent stuff. A great laugh. There are some seriously critical people here, but that, admittedly, is their right. I for one hope they do a second series.

Definite feel good program with some belly laughs thrown in every week. Plus it gets better each week as you get to know the characters personalities. Really hope they get a second series.

Little off topic but just in case any FMs haven't realised - Spiral 4 starts tomorrow night 2 episodes a week BBC4 (or is it 3?). So excited.

Was thinking the same only yesterday while out driving - who would abuse a car like that?!

Love GNO though, will be a massive shame if it doesnt go to a second series.

BIB I think we're at the point now, where those still watching and commenting are those who actually like it.
If it was seriously popular the 'pi$$ on your parade' mob would be here slating it heavily.

OK what comments do you find overly critical.

Obviously last night's showed the 'great night out' concept stretched its limit, but still a really entertaining show.

Enjoying the show too, laughed out when Keith Allen shot a hole in the beer keg.

Recorded it last night, and have just caught up. Some very light hearted entertainment, and some really belly laugh moments. Another vote here for a 2nd series.

    P.S. I think I'm a little bit in love with Begsy. :D

Been really enjoying this. Just a really good down to earth, not to be taken seriously comedy series

Am I right in thinking this was trailed as a comedy 'drama' series?

    You're Glynn and I claim my £5 :)
    'Use some onion gravy'
Really, sex 'toad in the hole' you can't make the connections.
She used a toy, basically, that might be uncomfortable for a chap.
I'd put up a link but, buttons are broken here.

Didn't realise it was Keith. However the campsite scenario was lifted straight out of Carry On Camping lets face it.

One point I have noted, I love Ricky Tomlinson but every character he seems to play is the same. There's so much Jim Royale in him I think he's morphed into Jim over the years.
