Digital Street and Estate are gone. :p

There's Lane, Terrace, Way and Square and it's been them 4 for at least 5 months now.

    Anyway-

    Name: Joanie Potts
    Age: 25
Occupation: Barmaid at the local nightclub.
Relationships: Sister to Jacqueline and Jamie.
Any Other Info: Joanie is a fierce judge of right and wrong, she knows when to speak out and when to not. Like her younger sister, Joanie will not be walked over, but luckily she has more sense than Jacqueline and doesn't speak out as much, and Joanie also thinks that men are good for nothing, which often complicates her relationship with them. Bit of a common as muck type.

    Name: Jacqueline Potts
    Age: 23
Occupation: Barmaid at the local nightclub.
Relationships: Sister to Joanie and Jamie Potts.
Any Other Info - Jacqueline is head strong and being the middle sibling living independently on Digital Road, she likes to head to the extremes. Jacqueline is the type of girl to blow all her wages on the first night whilst out then barely got by until next pay day, and she lives life in 'the fast lane'. Jacqueline is feisty and out going and she lets no one walk over her or her family, but she falls for men far too easily.

    Name: Jamie Potts
    Age: 21
    Occupation: Mechanic
Relationships: Young Brother to Joanie and Jacqueline
Any Other Info: Jamie has just come out of college but doesn't want to go on to study at university. He was pushed into it by Joanie, but doesn't really like college and just wants to go to work at the mechanics, come home and relax. Jamie is good looking and a typical lad, he often has flings with girls and thinks no more of it. Jamie is quite a nice lad, he doesn't judge, but one thing that does bother him is men who throw their weight around...which could complicate things quite a bit with other male residents.

Name: June Brannigan (Played by Anne Reid)
    Age: 76
Occupation: Landlady at the local pub (The Bel Air)
Relationships: Wife to Michael, Mother of Amanda and Lee, Mother in law to Carl, Grandmother to Tyler and Ruby.
Any other info: A fierce judge of right and wrong. June speaks her mind and she won't let you forget that her name is above the door, June doesn't take any nonsense of anybody and will wipe her hands with you quite quickly if she doesn't like you behind her bar. June is struggling with so many heads under her door and that is why Amanda and Carl have chosen to move out and Ruby is a lodger with the Potts Siblings. June does dearly love her family though and won't let anybody or anything drive a wedge between them.

Name: Michael Brannigan (Played by Chris Chitell)
    Age: 78
Occupation: Landlord at the local pub (The Bel Air)
Relationships: Husband to June, Father of Amanda and Lee, Father in law to Carl, Grandfather to Tyler and Ruby.
Any other info: Michael has been happily married to June for over fifty years. Michael isn't as upfront as June and often tells her to give the barmaids or barmen a chance. It's fair to say that June can sometimes intimidate Michael. Michael dislikes his son in law Carl and the pair often clash but Amanda finds it hard coming between her father and her husband the two most important men in her life. Michael also like June deeply loves his family and won't let anybody come between the Brannigans.

Name: Amanda Price (nee Brannigan) (Played by Nicola Stapleton)
    Age: 42
    Occupation: Unemployed
    Lives at: 18 Digital Road
Relationships: Wife to Carl, Daughter of June and Michael, Sister of Lee, Aunty of Tyler and Ruby.
Any other info: Being the only girl of the three children June and Michael had Amanda was spoilt rotten. To be fair she still is. Amanda has never lifted a finger since she married Carl as she hasn't needed to being the rich business man he is Amanda can just laze around all day without a care in the world. Amanda however is a recovering alcoholic Amanda was sent to rehab two years ago for her addiction and his since come back a changed person ... Or has she? Amanda seems to be on the brink of touching the drink once again with Carl all over the world sometimes with his job Amanda feels alone and is close to turning back other old habits.

Name: Carl Price (Played by Paul Opacic)
    Age: 44
    Occupation: Businessman
Relationships: Husband to Amanda, Son in law to June and Michael, Brother in law to Lee, Uncle in law to Ruby and Tyler.
Any other info: Sly, sneaky and rather cunning Carl isn't as friendly as he likes to make out. Carl is horrible to Michael and his dream is to push June and Michael out of the pub and swipe in and steal it for himself and Amanda. Well he's not even bothered about Amanda really anymore... Carl is fed up with Amanda and plans to dump her as soon as he can but he knows he needs to get the pub first!

Name: Lee Brannigan (Played by Gary Lucy)
    Age: 35
Occupation: Barman at the local nightclub
Relationships: Son of June and Michael, Brother of Amanda, Brother in law to Carl, Uncle of Ruby and Tyler.
Any other info: Lee came out gay to his parents seventeen years ago on his eighteenth birthday party and he had the reception he hoped for they accepted him happily. Lee is not overly camp and isn't your stereotypical gay. Lee is good friends with Jacqueline Potts and gets in with the larger than life character she is. Lee has recently come out of a long term relationship which he was in for four years and is currently single but looking for the right guy.

Name: Ruby Brannigan (Played by Jorgie Porter)
    Age: 21
Occupation: Beautician at the local salon
Relationships: Granddaughter of June and Michael, Niece of Lee and Amanda, Niece in law to Carl, Sister of Tyler.
Any other info: Ruby and Tyler came to live with their grand-parents three years ago after Ruby had had enough of her dad's wife Nicola and left the scene. Ruby is the daughter of June and Michaels eldest son Adam who lives in London. Ruby is materialistic and spoilt she takes after her Aunty Amanda. Ditzy and a total gossip don't tell Ruby any of your secrets or otherwise everyone will know them. Ruby is in a on-off relationship with Jamie Potts and the pair really just use each other for sex but Ruby is beginning to get feelings for Jamie. Ruby currently lodges with the Potts but Joanie insists that Ruby needs to start paying for her keep.

Name: Tyler Brannigan (Played by Tyger Drew Honey)
    Age: 17
Occupation: College student studying to be a lawyer when he finishes his degree
Relationships: Grandson of June and Michael, Nephew of Lee and Amanda, Nephew in law to Carl, Brother of Ruby.
Any other info: Tyler is a really well rounded teenager. He is friendly, kind and very intelligent walking away with nearly all A Stars at GCSE the opposite of Ruby who walked away with mainly E's and D's. Tyler cares about his sister lots and won't let any harm come to her Ruby is very important to Tyler and often it seems like Tyler is the older sibling. Tyler can see past Carl's nice persona and is the only person besides Michael who knows what he is truly like.

    Jacqueline Jossa

She's a strong-willed woman who lets no-one who tries to stop her achieving her dreams get in her way. However, Mary-Anne lives alone in a pokey flat as she's struggling to get her clothes business of the ground and so she decides to take out a loan, a loan which may come back to haunt her in future. She's also a sufferer of bi-polar disorder and has been diagnosed with it for a few years now, but she tries not to dwell on it to much and doesn't like mentioning it. Possible love interest for Tyler?

We've removed a number of posts from this thread. These are all fictional "games" and people can name their characters anything they like: we're not going to entertain claims of "plagiarism" for roleplaying games.

Any further disruption of this thread will result in the loss of posting privileges.

Well, technically this isn't a 'role-playing' game whatsoever, but, nevermind.

Let's be clear here - these characters belong to US. They are part of a creative writing project we produce away from DS, but also post on DS as well. The fact that DS won't support us in this matter, instead threatening us with loss of posting priveleges, is frankly disappointing and depressing. I for one am seriously considering boycotting DS if it seriously advocates plaigarism.

I'm with you mate, 100%. The Avenue is a COPYRIGHTED production. Plagiarism is illegal - so it should be dealt with in an appropriate way, not just swept under the carpet.
