Hello all 
After the success of the digital soaps I decided to start my own with the help of the FM's
Digital Square is set on a square in the middle of Manchester.
Digital Square will air once a week to start with and Digital Square has the following locations and businesses...
Pizza Palace (TBC)
Spa (TBC)
Cafe (TBC)
Pub – The Oak Barn
Gym (TBC)
Fashion Boutique (TBC)

So I'd like a few FM's to suggest characters for the soap and names for businesses. When submitting a character please specify a story line for them

Ena Green - Elizabeth Dawn
Age - 55
Ena is a very manipulative and strong willed woman. She's the Queen of The Square and she knows it - having the Square's most prized possession - The Oak Barn. However, as Ena only has Frank, her husband, and no children of her own, she longs for a life like Martha's, where she could have family around her and be happy. Ena lives with the secret well - better than both Hilda and Martha, but lives in constant fear of the body being discovered in The Oak Barn. Perhaps Ena could embark on fostering due to her loneliness, which could pave the way for teen characters.
Frank Green - Peter Armitage
Age - 54
Frank is very happy being the landlord of The Oak Barn, and is very proud of his wife, Ena. However, he is unaware of the truth - that Ena, Martha and Hilda killed a man, but more importantly, the man was his brother, Matthew. Ena has not realized it yet, but Frank's missing brother Matthew was the one she killed. Sometimes, Frank gets bored of Ena and sleeps with both Martha and Hilda on the side, but struggles to keep the truth sometimes from Ena. Due to Frank being a big drinker - more often than not, him and Ena do not see eye to eye over simple matters.
The Longstaff Family - Own 'Total Fitness' the gym.
Martha Longstaff - Cathy Breeze
Age - 50.
Martha is a long-time barmaid in The Oak Barn, having worked there since it was built 30 years ago. Martha is the matriarch of a large local family - The Longstaffs. Martha has a life long enemy - Hilda Davies, her brother's first wife whom he divorced after she spent all his money - and her story lines are centered around her history within The Square - having lived there since the age of 20. Martha has a deep dark secret, however, she, Hilda and Ena Green all murdered a man who attacked them when they were working late in the pub just over 30 years ago. The man is buried in the basement of The Oak Barn, and the three struggle to live with the secret. Martha struggles to cope with the death of her teenage son Chad years ago, when he was hit by a bus.
Chris Longstaff - Simon Gregson
Age - 33
Chris owns the gym, calling it 'Total Fitness' and set it up in memory of his elder brother Chad, who was killed when he was a teenager from being hit by a bus. Chris is glad of his success, but often becomes embarrassed by his mother due to her tart reputation. Chris has a son, Tyler, who he hardly sees, but he constantly strives to make Tyler think his dad is successful.
Diane Longstaff - Gemma Bissix
Age - 29
Diane is a bitch, and she knows it. She's a huge gold digger and knows what she wants in life - money. If she sets her sights on something, she'll get it, and she won't care who she hurts in the process. However, Diane idolizes her older brother Chris, and wishes she was just like him. Perhaps Diane sleeps with Frank, thinking he's successful, but he isn't and becomes pregnant instead? Also, Diane should have shares in the nightclub at some point.

Hilda Davies - Claire King
Age - 53
Hilda was the first wife of Martha's brother, but after she spent all his cash, he divorced her and moved away. After settling down in The Square, Hilda has lived there ever since on a yacht in the fishing dock, but longs for the life Ena has living in The Oak Barn and wishes she could own several businesses, but she just doesn't have the cash. Hilda desperately wants Martha to keep her secret - as it could ruin her whole life. Hilda focuses on her eldest daughter, Becky, and nothing else.
Becky Davies - Julia Haworth
Age - 30.
Becky is very successful and owns her own boutique, Becky's Boutique, which she runs by herself with no input from her mother. Becky is very selfish when it comes to money and does not give her mother a penny, preferring to live in the flat above the boutique instead of on the yacht with her mother. Becky is unable to keep a man in her life as her mother is too clingy, but Becky is so desperate for a relationship that she would do anything. (Becky could be involved in a domestic abuse storyline due to her desperation to keep a man)
Name: Amy Trent, Amy is a young admirable girl who runs the local fashion boutique and is enjoying life flying solo after recently splitting up from long term boyfriend Josh, Amy however has a difficult life Amy was recently sexually assaulted by a mystery man down an alleyway and her life has never Ben the same since (Played by Hetti Bywater)
Name: Josh Murphy, Josh is the ex boyfriend of Amy but he was dumped by Amy after the relationship was not working out, Josh however still loves me Amy dearly but is scared to confess his true feelings for her, Josh is scraping the barrel as he is desperate for cash at the moment and is getting mixed up with the wrong crew (Played by Daniel Anthony)
Name: Scott Johnson, Scott is the squares local bad boy figure, Scott is known for dealing with drugs, sex and murders, Scott has recently got Josh Murphy caught into his web of schemes and lies, Scott is scary and you don't want to get on the wrong side of him Scott is trying to keep his head low though at the moment as he was recently involved in the killing of Amy Jones a girl who used to live on the square, Scott is hiding another secret though he is Amy's mystery attacker (Played by Jamie Lomas)
Cal, I forgot to say this but can you include the actor playing the character
Are you sure? I though Amy would be better suited to the spa
Leo Hatter - Steven Roberts
Age - 18
Leo lives with his bestfriends Rosanna and Damien in the square. He works at the Pizza Palace but he's hiding from everyone his bisexuality.
Rosanna Willis - Tamaryn Payne
Age - 18
She's a party animal and can be very uptight and snobby, but she attempts to get along with everyone on the Square accept Diane, who she despises. I was also thinking of a possible eating disorder for her down the line.
Damien Dickinson - David Adkins
Age - 18
Damien is a proper lad and the bestfriend of Leo. He can tend to use homophobic language sometimes which is one of the reasons Leo hides his bisexuality. He also has an on and off relationship with Rosanna, despite them both secretly loving each other they never show it and try to make each other jealous.
Mary Dickinson - Sheila Reid
Age - 65
Mary is the grandmother of Damien and is extremely proud of him. She lives on her own as her husband died years ago and feels lonely without Damien around but regularly checks up on him. She also attempts to be a mother figure to Diane and talks her down when her catty attitude appears, but it never works for long. She owns the cafe.
For the top 3 I really couldn't think of which actors to choose so I don't know if they are right.

Rob acts like the hard man in front of the customers but Rob is a different man when at home. Rob's wife and two kids were killed in a brutal car crash last year. Rob has suffer with severe depression. Early this year Rob tried to kill himself.

Lorraine is the mother of George and Stefan and has one daughter in law, Hayley. Her husband died three years ago after drowning in a river and feels incomplete without him. Lorraine has made a decision not to date anybody as she feels she would betray her ex husband.
George Barton
Played by Steven Hartley
Age: 43
George is the eldest son of Lorraine and dotes on her. He has a secret that nobody knows and is soon to be revealed. The secret is that he saw his father go into sea and saw him start to drown but left him there. He is worried in case Lorraine will disown him. George has never been married and has no kids.
Stefan Barton
Played by James Sutton
Age: 30
Stefan is the youngest out of Lorraine's children and is married to Hayley. He has one child who he fathered with Hayley at the age of 18. Stefan is a recovering alcoholic but finds himself drinking again after George reveals his secret.
Hayley Barton
Played by Jessica Fox
Age: 29
Hayley is the wife of Stefan and mother to Stacey. Ever since Stacey was paralysed, Hayley has never been able to compose herself especially since she was the reason why Stacey is paralysed after a massive car crash which she got away with a broken leg and arm whilst Stacey was left in a wheelchair.
Stacey Barton
Played by Sinead Michael
Age: 12
Stacey is Hayley and Stefan's daughter and was paralysed after an awful car crash which her mother caused. Due to the incident, Stacey's memory has not been great but when she starts remembering the incident, it causes great concern for Hayley. Stacey has been in a wheelchair for two years.

Wendy is Robs mother. Wendy move to the square to support her son. Well that's what Rob thinks. Wendy actually robbed £50,000 when she was living in Spain.
Joel Price
Played by Jamie Nichols
Joel is co-owner of club lights. Joel has been feeling guilty ever since Rob wife and kids got killed. No one knows that it was Joel that made Rob wife crash. Joel was calling Rob wife phone. This is how she crashed by answering the phone to him. Another secret that No one knows about is that Robs wife was pregnant with Joel Baby

The squares resident bitch. She came to Digital Square with her husband, however he walked out on her after a big row in the centre of the square. Since then, she has been stirring things up for the other families and has been slapped a number of times. She lives in a modern apartment, which she is struggling to keep. She now works in the nightclub as a cleaner, determined one day to become the owner.
