I don't understand the assassination of her character TBH.
No doubt someone will say that just by association with PA she has opened herself up for it... I disagree, the ridiculous 'St. Emily' tag and suggestions are OTT considering she, as far as I can see has not done anything at all to warrant it.
As for the talk of her coming from 'good stock', seriously nauseating.
I understand the initial speculation but it just seems relentless and unfounded and all because of the intense dislike for the person she is seeing.
Hopefully it's a positive for the kids and gives them some sense of stability - a good thing surely?

? Do you mean cos they're not on his show? But surely that speaks well for them, that they have no interest in being part of the circus and have professional lives of their own away from all this. It doesn't mean they have a prob with it, more that they have better things to be doing than pratting around on a cheap RTV show. Anyway, they see DOTY regularly off-camera - DOTY tells us this in his column of truth.
And I really can't see the K&T angle as a motivation here.

They were visiting another country, doing some kind of relief/aid work iirc, and the locals had dressed Pa and Emily up in some sort of traditional costume and they were parading them around. I think there was even a jokey remark made about how they had possibly just got married to each other without realising.

Yes, DOTY visited the health aid project (HIPZ) her dad co-founded in Zanzibar. I think it was the first ep of the last series. And yes, they had a mock wedding on the beach.

:eek: No no no, I wasn't planning on reviewing this one, mainly because, if the blurb on the itv site is accurate, and past experience tells me it will be, it's just going to be filled with 'poor Pete' and the aftermath etc, and there's no way in the world I'm covering that for reasons that are obvious.
I'm going to save myself for Ep.2, the malteser one.
