E 74 error and outcome

well got up this morning and turned on xbox for a blast on mw2,,damn red light and error e74 ...
so went online and filled out a repair request,,turns out microsoft have extended the warranty on my console for 3 years.
so i get a free repair and 1 month xbox live free.
but what i wanted to know is what is the turn around for these repairs.
woman said 2-3 weeks....please tell me that is not so...i will have withdrawl if i cannot play mw2 lol..
no seriouslly i will have withdrawl ............................
anyway anyone had to send off console for repair and i am thinking i will get a replacement console rather than my one back right ? ? ?
