Its just what we need, a slice of breezy summer disco to help us forget this Thatcher-crap for an hour in our lives!
    Loving Nile Rodgers!

RAM will also feature a collab with Giorgio Moroder, which is making my panties wet!:D

I really like it but it's nothing new. The Bee Gees were doing this 35 years ago, and Jamiroquai were doing it in the 90s.

A bit retro sounding but still a good track.

The new album is released tomorrow.

As always, I'm expecting nothing less than the best thing I've heard since the last one. One of these days I'm bound to be disappointed with a DP album, but it hasn't happened yet.

No. The album is released on the 21st May, not April.

edit: 17th in Aus and 20th in UK.

Really looking forward to the album. Love Daft Punk, Discovery is right up there in my favourite albums of all time. Get Lucky is pretty good. Nothing ground-breaking, but catchy and makes you wanna dance.

It's good but if it knocks Just Give Me A Reason off US iTunes number 1 s**t will hit the fan.

Nile Rodgers was the trailblazer for the disco acts of the 70s, as well as forming Chic he produced Sister Sledge's album We Are Family . He doesn't get the recognition he deserves, he's been battling cancer and I really hope he beats it. If the worst happens and the tributes flood only then will everyone know how he shaped music over the last 30 odd years.

It's #1 on Itunes already!! and #3 in US Itunes.

Funk/Disco and 90s dance are really making a comeback for 2013! It reminds me a little of Alright by Jamiroquai.

The Itunes Top 20 is probably my personal favourite that I remember the Top 20. I like around 18 out of the 20 songs..

Giorgio Moroder has worked on the new album as well.

Pity Bernard Edwards wasn't still around for it.

I found it a bit 'meh' but when the vocodery type vocals (you can tell I know a lot about the technical aspects) came in I got a big smile on my face.
It's true it's nothing new, but it sounds like proper, good Daft Punk which is all I'm looking for really.

Heard it on Xfm this morning and it really put the rest of the station's guitar-driven pop in the shade. Surely soundtrack to the summer (if we get a summer).

I despise this kind of "retro/funky" disco garbage :(
