I think this thing about the lady in a wheelchair is getting a bit out of hand - I'm all for treating disabled people as equals but sometimes they can be treated almost too well IMO. It's sad if people feel they have to be extra nice to one fan who's waiting for autographs just because they are in a wheelchair.
I'm not saying whether Jorgie was deliberately rude or not, I wasn't there, but to me the fact that the woman she ignored was a wheelchair user isn't particularly relevant. If I ever met her I would still give her the benefit of the doubt as for every bad experience, there may well be several good ones. I'll be interested to hear if more people meet Jorgie and whether they find her rude or otherwise.
A person in such a circumstance has to APPEAR to be extra nice to a disabled person - it seems everyone else appreciated that, and Jorgie not being prepared to do the same, and being the only one who did not join in makes her, or might make her look bad. She really needs to wise up about things like this. What if someone was filming it on a mobile phone ? It could be put up on Youtube.
Well I also didnt like Matthew during the show and I mentioned on here that he came over really well at the gates and was lovely to everyone and refused to leave until he made sure everyone got their autographs/pics.
I always try to get everyones autograph every year so was prepared to give Jorgie a chance I asked her nicely twice and she totally blanked me and given she had no idea who I was it cant of been because she knew I didnt like her.
Just thinking out loud here but have you had any dealings with Matt Evers before? I'm just wonderfing if it's possible that he might have somehow known who you were and that you weren't keen on Jorgie and effectively warned her off.

And how would he manage to do that? They came out seperately.
Matt does know who I am and was perfectly nice to me at the gates.
And it wasnt just me she ignored, saw her ignore quite a few people.

What is it with the posters on this forum always automatically assuming that the sun shines out of the celeb and the fault must lie with a poster. Maybe the celeb isn't actually as nice as you think.
I was there on Friday as got a last minute invite from family for my little cousins birthday and they know I like DOI and had a spare ticket so I went to Newcastle and went along. I was at the gates for a period beforehand as my cousin wanted to see if she could see anyone. There was a group of girls there who wanted to get Jorgie and despite her being out several times she wouldn't come to them despite them asking her reply was two minutes, two minutes every time and she never came to them at all. Yes I appreciate they were busy but they all were and in that space of time Sam, Andrei, Matthew, Jennifer, Chemmy and Biggins all came over yes they were all in a hurry but they managed to make the time and checked before going back that everyone had what they wanted. Surely she could have spared a couple of minutes to do what they wanted.
At the gates after the show she was hit or miss again she seemed to be only going for those that were making a huge fuss of her and telling her how wonderful she was. I can't speak for the other posters experience but from my end of the gate unless you were fawning she wasn't interested my cousin didn't get her either fortunately though she wasn't too upset as the others had been really nice to her so she was happy enough with that. I can vouch for the previous posters comments about Andy he reluctantly came over complaining before he even got to the gates that he was in a hurry signed a few things and then said he had to go because he had to get the kids back to the hotel. Fair enough sentiment however surely another five minutes to make sure everyone had got wouldn't have hurt. At that point there wasn't a huge crowd so he could have managed it. My cousin was one of the lucky ones and got his autograph
Even if Jorgie was vaguely aware of any issues which seems unlikely unless the poster has contacted Jorgie directly and said anything and they have recognised them and I wouldn't think if there had been that much of an issue the poster would have bothered which makes me think there is no known animosity as such she still could have maintained a professional front and just signed and walked on and as I say its bad form to ignore some fans and only acknowledge those being very vocal as to your wonderful you are.
I actually think Jorgie has a real problem communicating when she is being herself as Philip Schoffied knows only too well. She was very difficult to interview when she came off the ice. I suspect that is why she was put with Matt Evers as he always has plenty to say in front of the camera. Many actors and actresses are shy out of character. I feell Jorgie is not at ease in the limelight. That could explain her behaviour. As for the lady in the wheelchair. Again some people cannot deal with disabilities. It is not rudeness. In many ways Jorgie is very immature which again was why Matt was her partner. Jorgie once said Matt looked after her. He is much older than her and he comes over as a vey caring kind of guy. I do not think Jorgie is rude. I just think she finds certain situations difficult.

You know, that's an excellent point and something I'd never really thought of - but it sounds entirely plasuable. Perhaps Jorgie is not good at communicating, and/or she may be shy. Talking to strangers comes easily to some people but not everyone. I'm glad you suggested that as you've made me think about this in a different light.
Anyway, I think I'm going to stop trying to analyse a person I've never met because I really don't have enough to go on! Jorgie gets the benefit of the doubt for now.
