I hope Erin gets someone really, really bad this year. I hope she gets this year's Johnny Ball.
If Erin is back this year - the producers may well decide to give her yet another 'duffer' but since she's proved time and again that she can do a good job with them and certain other pros haven't, imo it would be pointless giving her yet another one.
She, Brendan and Anton have lasted on the show since it's inception for a reason - they're popular. I'm not too concerned about who the producers give Anton because I don't think he deserves a good celeb but imo Erin does. I would like to see her with a good celeb she can really shine with for a change - as I've said before it's been so long since she's had one or at least a celeb with some potential.
He has basically got himself relegated to "comedy turn" partner,
although Artem has proved he can fill that role as well, and Robin also seems to have specialised in "duffers with potential" (Patsy Kensit/ Lisa Riley etc).
Unlike Anton, Erin has the potential to get someone capable to the final stages.

I just wonder if someone like Kristina moved on, would Erin be better partnered with someone like Robin for group dances ?

Yes if I remember rightly, I believe Erin came second out of the girls in the kick ball challenge - she did much better than she did in the botafogo challenge the year before.
She can do very well with all sorts of celebs and I agree unlike Anton I think if she was given a popular celeb with potential she would get them to the final stages - I'm not sure she's hampered by Anton though, because as a partnership they're very popular and they mainly only dance in the Ballroom dances.
Katherine Ryan, who was on LDFCR could go on. She isn't that famous (I hadn't heard of her before LDFCR) but she was really good and it would help her raise her profile in the UK.
Aww, I'm in the definitely want Jodie Prenger on Strictly camp. I thought she was awesome on 'LDFCR' - I can understand that she's not everyone's cup of tea though.
Antony Cotton has done so well in LDFCR (and might well win) I would like to see him in SCD next series.

too much professional dance experience.

It doesn't make him an automatic choice - they've had celebs that have taken part in LDFCR on Strictly before but as of yet - they've never had one of the winners on, and as I said on another thread the Corrie producers if he's still in it in the autumn would have to give him special treatment as they don't allow their actors to take part in Strictly and personally I don't think anyone at the BBC should bust a gut fighting with ITV to get Anthony Cotton on Strictly because he's just not worth it!

I doubt Anthony Cotton would win SCD anyway, I can remember him from IACGMOOH and he didn't win on that - the Fabulous Fatima Whitbread beat him on that

Don't ITV have some sort of embargo on their current soap stars being on SCD - I maybe wrong - but that is my understanding
That must mean that if he is on Strictly, he'll have to quit Corrie, which I'm sure will be a huge loss for the show.
