How can you compare choosing 2 of your acts who you will forget their existence within a month of X Factor finishing, and 2 of your kids?
Cheryl is a complete failure as a judge. She is not their mother.
Why? She, like Simon, should have been allowed to vote last, I'm blaming the producers.

Cheryl been a judge is a JOB where she gets paid lots of money for it so she should be willing to fully do what's expected.

Everytime since she's been on the panel (and throughout the shows history too I'm sure) that the bottom 2 have had the same mentor, said mentor has been asked to vote last should their vote be required. She was obviously not expecting to be asked second, and was taken aback. She chose her words poorly, but given the situation it's not really her fault.
The producers are to blame more than she is.
She's their mentor on a TV talent competition, then goes home to enjoy her own life.
Do you really think she gives them a second thought?
