Paul Gascoigne is an obvious example. He is 47, but looks 74
True but to be honest with his Alcoholism, Drug taking and Mental Illnesses it is a miracle Gazza is still with us at all, hope he can beat his demons but it is looking increasingly unlikely.:(
I don't know if it's because I wasn't around when he actually was young, but I'm not seeing David Essex as anything special at all Maybe I've Googled some bad photos...

I agree. I really don't think some people understand what "aging badly" actually is. Someone like Gazza is a good example (but unfortunate given his downward spiral).

Thank you. I thought I was going mad. I don't think he was that amazingly good-looking, just OK.
You'll probably go at this, but I can't see what you find so attractive about him, even when he was younger. To me he looks like a skull with bug eyes It just goes to show that what someone finds attractive another person might not find at all attractive. In my eyes, Lewis Collins was the most gorgeous man who ever lived.

To me he didn't just look incredible, but he played so beautifully like no one else played. There was something majestic about him. Plus, he is cool as **** off the pitch.

I agree, I don't find him particularly nice looking, never mind beautiful but you are right, we all find different faces attractive, and just as well really!
What I will say is - and I don't know the difference in age between those two photos - he doesn't look that different from the first to the second.
He looks pretty much the same to me in both pictures. Is he supposed to be older in the second picture? I actually think he looks a bit younger in that one.

Lastly - Lewis Collins = nice!
Both photos are examples of how Maldini looks nowadays. I didn't word it very well.

I'm so sorry for the blasphemy, Xela M I agree about him as a player though. He was one of the Italian greats of his time, he was elegant and majestic, and he is rather cool. I just don't think he's good looking, so there

He was a gorgeous young man but I don't think he looks awful now he is older, actually he looks quite good.

(or did I just Google a flattering picture?)
He is never going to match the extreme beauty he had when young but he is a striking man now.

He actually looks good for his age. I certainly wouldn't say he's aged badly
For his age? He's only 46.
He was absolutely magnificent looking when he was playing football. Stunning. So it's a bit weird to see him looking a bit worn out.
I misread that. I was expecting Paolo Nuttini!
I did as well!! ;-)
He is 67 he had to age eventually
I think it's because he went from this

To this

I don't think he's bad for 67 though and still doing sell out tours
Lets put it this way. Hes definitely not ugly

I think David looks pretty good for 67 years old!

He is not ugly of course, but he's looking a bit old. He was gorgeous as a player, on and off the pitch.
:D:D
I have seen one of the Rolling Stones described as a face like a melted monkey. Forgotten which one though
