I have applied for a job and they are doing group registrations and one of the items they want you to take along is proof of national insurance number. I just wondered what sort of thing could i take for that? Not sure if i have any proof other than on letters about my benefits. Is that the sort of thing to take?

If it has your name and address on it yes that should be fine, Usually they just ask for the number though
If the letter shows your NI number that should be proof enough.
This is what the email says
good luck
Take two along with you, and you'd have proof of your address as well.
Not for several years

Ahh, I remember my stepdaughter getting one when she turned 16, which was January 2011, so she would have been one of the last.
We had to send it back anyway as her name was wrong!
