Really hope both Lithuania and Netherlands can make it out of the semi's .. it will be a much better and varied final with them in IMO.

In less than 48 hours we'll know the first set of qualifiers from semi final one. It's coming up fast!

Just found a few other videos from West End Eurovision 2010.

Not to be outdone by the sequel, The Phantom of the Opera did La Voix. Can't find the live video - this is the sound check:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h_cHbwDzfT0

Les Miserables does Puppet on a String.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rhlplD86onk

All I can say is if you think that Algo Pequeñito's choreography is creepy... :D

And Bardo returned on the night to relive 1982 (not sure if this has been posted already :o).

I was there in the Upper Circle with the Legally Blonde mob :D

Great great great night out. The videos on Youtube are one thing but they miss out all the judging comments (Graham Norton was really very good) and the hilarious compere too :D

This is funny, the odious Star TV channel from Greece continue their vendetta (remember "the cruelty to Elephants" story amongst others) against Alexander Rybak for beating Sakis but he's fit for them.

I can't find a video for them from this year, so I'm guessing they weren't.

Blimey, that channel is bitter. They should be pleased that Norway won - it's not as though Greece'd really be able to afford hosting it this year anyway.

Peter - as there has been a wave of new votes come in, any chance of an updated scoreboard?

And I'm trying to think of the song left to review? Ireland?

I'm not going to do any more updates until the final scores now, just to keep the suspence...and it's very close.

And it's Armenia, and I'm bloody annoyed about the new thread! So now all of my reviews will be in the one thread except for one! :(

Yeah me too, to be honest this year after listening to the songs much earlier then usual I wont be too disappointed with any song going through, maybe with the exception of Bosnia, one which aint grown on me in the slightest

It was last Thursday night at the Piccadilly Theatre at 11.30pm (after all the West End shows finished for the night) and I think it was about 3.30am when I left the theatre :D

As well as the 11 contest entries the cast of Grease also did a really good introduction to the whole night.

This may sound like a stupid question, but in the semis, do the jury pick 1 act like last year, or have they changed them so it's 50-50 with each country, like the final last year?

Yeah its just like the final now 50/50 votes between the juries and public. The top ten go through, no wildcard

    No Wicked entry.

    Avenue Q
    Billy Elliot
    Dirty Dancing
    Dreamboats and Petticoats
    Jermyn Street Theatre
    Les Miserables
    Legally Blonde
    Love Never Dies
    Mamma Mia!
    The Phantom of the Opera
    We Will Rock You

plus the thing Grease did at the start (that wasn't a Eurovision song though).

Today see's the first two dress rehearsals of Semi Final 1. It'll be good to get an idea of what the opening titles, postcards and scoreboard look like as well as what the opening and interval acts will be. I'm also intrigued as to what the green room looks like because it's been hinted that it's going to be slightly different than it has been in recent years. :)

    Dress Rehearsal 1: 14:00 - 16:00 (UK time)
    Dress Rehearsal 2: 20:00 - 22:00 (UK time)

The AKOE blog is usually the best with the images and commments: http://akoe07.livejournal.com/

Only a day to go!! :p
