Thomson DTI 6300 - Tuner 1 No Signal

My DTI 6300 has developed a "No Signal" problem.
I tried a re-tune, but receive message to the effect that the aerial may not be connected, and the re-scan fails.
The aerial connection is good,and fully working with other freeview equipment
The EPG display is correct and continues to upgdate.
When I display the Tuning Information, Tuner 2 shows good signal strength, but Tuner 1 shows 0.
I have observed the status messages for Tuner 1 stating "Software Upgrade In Progress" or "EPG update in progress", but the signal strength is still 0.
Is this likely to be a hardware problem with Tuner 1 ?
Is there a fix ?
Is there a Tuner Reset or Factory Reset procedure which may resolve the issue ?

Did a complete power cycle..... Removed power input cable and re-plugged. This resolved the problem.
(NB I had previously tried a power off/on from remote control, but this did not resolve the problem)
