The hairstyles have dated but this still holds it own.

Unlikely comedy about a black guy becoming President of the USA. As if.

The other woman. It was only slightly better than I expected, considered that Cameron Diaz was in it. Truth is that I accompanied a friend who had specifically chosen this movie but I survived. 5.5/10

    Martyrs 8/10

Controversial movie and difficult to watch in places, but it has got some interesting ideas going on and leaves you thinking about it afterward (which I think is a sign of a good movie). It's pretty bleak though so if you can't stomach that kind of movie then steer clear.

i watched one before the below, but i cannot bloody remember what it was :D

ONLY LOVERS LEFT ALIVE - 7half/10
    ponderland with vampires :D

    NEED FOR SPEED - 8/10
oddly dreamlike paced for a speed movie, the final race more than made up for it's slow build, but it was actually quite enjoyable ..... too long though and not enough dramatic punch either

JACK RYAN SHADOW RECRUIT - 4/10
sad end to a great character, this logical mess of a movie is far too dour to excite, and daft mistakes in editing really drive it down for me

THE WOLF OF WALL STREET - 7half/10
like a massive boulder careering down a mountainside, throwing out all sorts of genres, some funny, some serious ..... like goodfellas dialled up a hundred times!

Make Me an Offer [1954]. Director: Cyril Frankel

    6/10

Peter Finch in an unlikely comedy about antiques dealers. Richard O'Sullivan plays Finch's character as a boy in a flashback.
