    Looking forward to it :)

Not sure if it will have the same impact (on me, anyway) as the first series, now that we know the format.

I wouldn't have thought that such a well made intelligent programme such as Last Tango would appeal to the same people who would choose to watch the Celeb Jungle thing. ;)

I am already in bed as the bl**dy football is on here and our other TV has gone caput. Will get up very early and watch it on catch up but not the same as watching in the evening when it is dark and nice and warm.

Aw, at least you'll still have something to look forward to. Best make sure you stay away from this thread until you've watched it though :)

I love that they just let that scene with Gillian and Caroline run and run, becoming increasingly awkward. Excellent writing and acting.

I'm finding them all a bit irritating this time around. Especially Celia.

I really loved it, it was just as brilliant as I remembered if not more, the comedy just as funny and the drama just as riveting. It's a rare thing these days, a present-day drama that isn't a procedural/crime thriller or a soap, it's just a drama about normal people. It shows that when you give brilliant actors great writing you don't need anything else.

I think the characters have a few more faults this series but that's just adds to the drama and I found myself feeling sorry for all of them, even John who I hated last year.
