Yvonne Sampson has told of her embarrassment after being caught unawares simulating a sex act while in the crowd at the cricket. The Channel Nine sports presenter was at North Sydney Oval last week watching Queensland play against Victoria when the cameras focused on her in between deliveries.
She was in the middle of an animated conversation, busily gesturing to the two friends on either side of her. The Channel Nine commentators couldn't stop laughing at the incident with laughter heard through one of the live microphones for another 30 seconds.

Nice to hear about Dan Dawson and Phillip Studd working on the online and television broadcasts of darts and snooker respectively, both of them are strong voices on their respective sports for the radio stations they report on them for, so it's good to hear they've had the chance to progress to a visual medium.
Interesting that Premier Sports are basically using the BBC Rugby League pundits to cover the matches during the World Cup. Brian Noble, Robbie Paul and Jon Wilkin at the PNG/France and NZ/Samoa game today.

The American Football Show host Vernon Kay joined Colin and Mike in the studio prior to the game and I'm sure he won't be their only studio guest as their coverage continues. They are also dropping in highlights from the NFL RedZone channel to their studio exerts during the breaks in play, as they do on their Sunday Night Football coverage.

Guy McIntyre joined them in the studio towards the end of the game and for the postgame reaction on More4. The switchover from Channel 4 to More4 was made with just over one minute left in the game. Nothing happened after that, the teams just let the clock run down. So there you go. The postgame interviews were fun, that Jennifer Hale from Fox is something else. "Good luck on your flight home!"

I did too, but it looks from the schedules like the deal with France and Italy starts this year with Ireland games joining next season
