The staff on here seem cheerier than last week's lot but that isn't difficult!
    Comedians the lot of them.

Thought Driver Jason was the funniest..."I've hit em all...."

And Kev & Stev should have there own show....prime time Saturday night.;)

No sympathy for idiots playing on train-lines. I see it as a mechanised form of natural selection.

That ale trail looks like the closest version of a depiction of hell that we’re likely to see all year.

Was it really necessary to follow the Police to ASDA with a camera in tow? Presumably the Mum gave permission to show afterwards?

I have seen comments elsewhere saying how carefully it was shot. The camera stayed out of sight and the mother was never shown. She must have given permission for it be used, perhaps, like the other mother at a press conference, she wanted to help get over to people the dangers of trespassing on the railway tracks.

Are the trains specifically laid on for this purpose? I thought they were just regular scheduled trains and the ale trail are using them for their own purposes.

The simple answer might be revenue - it may bring in a tidy sum to the train company which offsets the cost of policing and passenger safety.

It's a good thing you can't believe it, because 'We' aren't running ale trains.
It must have been stated at least 3 times that it was a regular service, that used to be very quiet, populated by shoppers and the odd tourist.
I'm probably going to get shouted at now, but if you're going to moan about something, pay attention FGS.

I suppose they get on the service sober and slowly get drunk.
If they decide to bar the more incapable people from the service, then they've got these people wandering around out of the way villages causing trouble.
The BTP or Police don't waste time and resources gathering them up, transporting them and locking them up, then releasing them hours later.
I'm guessing on balance it's better to keep them together with their mates and the problem centres on the Train stations and the pubs.

So, tonight's episode is about FGW's Reading-Paddington service. Presumably that means it'll be starting ten minutes late, finishing half an hour late and there won't be enough seats in my living room. Oh, and while I'm waiting for it to start I'll have to pay 30p to use my bathroom...

I used to go through Reading station regularly. Horrid place

Nothing a well placed tactical nuclear bomb wouldn't fix.

It's been long overdue a makeover for about 20 years now.

It was a dump 20 years ago!

The only good thing was the station pub. I missed many trains by having an extra pint there.
