Not sure about the vampires, at least they don't sparkle (shudders) which was my biggest fear about the episode.

god, this is a tedious interview!

Totally agree, this guy is like Tim nice but Dim from Harry Enfield. No Tennant, not even close.

Brian Cox would be more interesting as the Doctor, as opposed to this "my daddy is very rich" fool.

Will give it longer than a short trailer to make my mind up completely though.

He seems quirky, which has got to be a good thing when you're playing the Doc.

I think you will find she was refering to the Emma Thompson interview. Judging by the fact that post was posted way before MS came on.

Dare I use a Davies quote? Yes, yes I do.

A pool, a library, vampires, spaceships, british Daleks, stonehenge...

    It shall be, Marvellous!

Don't claim I did it deliberately, when you failed to point out who you were speaking of.

Although I should know better than to post on a thread about children's TV like Dr Who and Tourchwood. I remember the outrage over critisism over the tellytubbies. That was one heck of a flame war ;)

I'm surprised Matt's interview was so short - being the new Doctor is a big deal and he doesn't seem to be getting that much mainstream PR compared to David Tennant back when he first got the role. I wish it had been longer. Don't feel like I know Matt any better for watching and it just all was a bit too squeezed in. Disappointed.

Looking very forward to the new series, though. About time Doctor Who was back on telly properly (I'm not a fan of the "specials").

I disagree, he has gotten a good deal more in actual fact. The build up to this series has been bigger than any series since the year it relaunched. Easily.
