You only have too many handbags when you can't afford to keep buying them. I don't mean that flippantly. If you want to indulge yourself with a monthly bag, and you have disposable income then I'd say spend away! But if it's a choice between handbags or paying for your kids' school trips then you clearly have better things to spend your money on.
I must have at least 40 stashed away. My real weakness is hats and fascinators. I don't know anybody outside of a milliner's shop who has more hats than me!
